Dr. Kelemen Atilla - Romania

Allround judge, Working Trials: RCI – IPO, Coursing, Field Trials

Founding member of the Romanian Kennel Club, former president of the Judges Committee, Honorary President of the Mures Kennel Club, Member of the Romanian Parliament, in present appointed as Observer in the European Parliament on behalf of Romania. A well respected veterinarian doctor, also involved in horse activities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Petru Muntean - Romania

Show judge since 1991, but active in the dog world since 1974.
First dog that he owned was a Pekingese. During the years, he owned various dogs, but his constant love remained the Dachshunds.
In 1986 he became the President of Hunedoara Kennel Club, and also a member in the Romanian Kennel Club’s board. From these positions, he took part in organising various shows.
Between the years 1996-2001, he had the honour of being the President of the Romanian Kennel Club.
All-rounder since 2005, also since 2005 he is the vicepresident of the Judges Committee of ACHR.
Has judged all over the world, being a very familiar face at all the big shows. Friends also know him as „Mr. Draculescu”, due to his initiative to create „The DDS ® CACIB” as a new Romanian brand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Carla Molinari - Portugal

One of the most prominent figures in the European dog world, Carla Molinari has been the president of the Clube Português de Canicultura since 1985 and a member of the FCI General Commitee between 1987-1999.
She is an FCI all round judge since 1983, but she’s also licensed to judge championship level by the A.K.C., K.C. of UK, C.K.C. and A.N.K.C. of Australia.
Carla Molinari has judged all breeds all around the globe, in Europe, South and North America, Africa, Asia, etc. . She is most proud to have been judged 5 times at the Crufts, where she will return as a judge in 2009, the Australian most prestigious Sidney and Melbourne Royal shows, several World and European dog shows. Her next important assignment is Budapest 2008.
As a breeder, Carla Molinari has produced over 180 champions, multi, international, world and European winners, in breeds like German Shepherds (1963), Afghans & Salukis (1967), Mini Dachshunds (1978), Whippets, Italian Greyhounds & Pointers (1983), Port. Norman Deschuymere - Belgium

Norman has become involved with dogs in 1968, when he got his first grey poodle.
Over the years, he was active and fullfilled his duty as a general secretary with the Defense Dog Club of his region.
His main interest went to the Belgium breeds, having owned a highly active and working Malinois. He showed interest and support for the Groenendaels, then for the Schipperkes (1972), contributing to the promotion of these breeds in special shows.
Since 1975, he has produced many champions under his affix, de la Quievre, both In Belgium shepherds and Schipperkes.
In time, he had an Important role and various functions In the Belgium dog activity: secretary, then president of the Royal Belgian Shepherd Club (1978-1991), President of the Royal Union Club of Belgian Shepherds (1991-1995).
Currently, he is the President of the Assembly of Delegates of the Royal Union Cynologique Saint Hubert , Vice-President of the Commission of Judges Qualifications, president, vicepresident or simple member of various breed clubs in Belgium (for the Spaniels, Pekingese, Japanese Chin, Bouvier, Schipperke, Chihuahua, Bichons, Siberian Husky, Cairn terrier).
He is also a Belgium delegate of F.C.I. Judges commission and Shows commission.
He has become a judge in 1981, nowadays an all rounder, and he has judged all around the world ever since.

Harri Lehkonen - Finland

Breeds owned / bred: Rough Collie 1957 was his first dog, then Wire and Smooth Fox Terriers, English Springer Spaniels and Longhaired Standard Dachshunds. Breeder since: 1973 participating in his wife's breeding kennels.

Has judged in following countries: besides Finland, in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Japan, Luxemburg, Russia, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Canada and USA

Mr. Lehkonen is also a Terrier & Dachshund underground hunting trial judge. He has been a member of the Lahti International Dog Show committee for many years, being in charge of the computer work and results. He has been a member of the Finnish Kennel Club computing committee and was a pioneer in using computers in the result service of the Helsinki Int. Shows. He has been in charge of educating new judges for the Staffordshire Bull & Amstaff Terrier Club and is considered a specialist of especially the Amstaffs. He has given seminars of the Amstaffs both in Finland and Russia. He has been a board member of the Fox Terrier Club and the local Dachshund Club. Paula Heikkinen Lehkonen - Finland

Breeds owned / bred: Smooth & Wire Fox Terriers, English Springer Spaniel, Dachshound Standard Long Haired. Breeder since: purchased her first dog in 1961, bred her first litter in 1968

Has judged in following countries: besides Finland, in Austria, Australia, Argentina, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Japan, Kazakshtan, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romanie, Russia, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Sweden, Thailand, Ukraine and USA.

Mrs. Heikkinen-Lehkonen is a well-known writer and photographer, whose articles and photos have been published in many dog magazines and books all over the world. She is a successful breeder and has bred dozens of Champions and International Champions especially in Fox Terriers. She has been very active in the club work, having been a.o.t the President of the Terrier Club of Finland and the president of the Lahti International show for many years, and a member of several Kennel Club committees. At present she is the President of the regional Kennel Club Salpausselän Kennelpiiri, and since 2001, the President of the Judges' Society. She is a judge of Terrier & Dachshund underground hunting trials, too. She has been awarded a.o.t. the golden medal of the Finnish Kennel Club and the Finnish Terrier Club, the Vuolasvirta Award for Breeders, the Breeders' Plaque of the Finnish Terrier Club and the golden Pin of Breeders of the Finnish Fox Terrier Club.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Miklos Levente, Hungary

He has graduated university studies in 1965, specializing in animal breeding and genetics, then completed his Doctorate in 1972.
His profession and hobby were always the breeding of animals (bred himself race pigeons, horses and, naturally, dogs).
He owns dogs from as early as 1948, breeds them since 1953. His affix is NYAKIGLÁB. Between 1953-1962 he bred Hungarian pointing dogs and English Cocker Spaniels, after 1968 he dedicated himself to the breeding of Greyhounds and Great Danes. He has bred over 100 national champions and over 40 international champions. His Greyhounds participate in amateur racings, winning multiple titles as racing champions in national, European and World competitions. Also, with his Great danes he has obtained impressive titles, with European, World and International winners.
He has become a judge in 1973, an all round judge in 1985. He has judged practically in the whole world, awarding BIS very many times at important shows. He also judges trial shows for Pointers, racing Greyhounds and Coursing.
He has been a member of the General Committee of his national club for a long time, he is the president of the Sighthound Club of Hungary and represents his country in the Breeding and the Sighhound Committee of the FCI. He has lectured on cynology in 2 universities. Before retiring, he was the Executive Director of the MEOE.

 

 

 

 

 

Zsolt Lokodi - Romania

Zsolt Lokodi has been showing and breeding Airedale and Welsh Terriers for twenty years. Since 1987 his dogs were known as "Nyaradmenti", then he decided to merge his kennel with the "Happytails" kennel. His dogs have been consistently successful around the world, with Champions in many countries (Europe, USA, Australia, Canada, Russia, Estonia), many International Champions and European and World Winners. He also shows and breeds Dachshunds (Wire). Recently he was approved as an FCI all round judge and he is the founding member of the National Terrier and Dachshund Club of Romania (CNTT) and is Vice President of the Romanian Kennel Club. He is one of the organiser of the Tg-Mures Dog Shows held annually on the grounds of the Medieval Castle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cristian Vantu - Romania

Licensed for the FCI group III, IV, V, VII, VIII, X, Romanian Shepherds, Dobermann, Schnauzers and B.I.S. since 1998
Cristian started to show Spaniels at the age of 12 and he used to breed English Cocker Spaniels under the St. Anne's affix. Now he has Azawakh and Carpatin Romanian Shepherd (www.azawakh.ro). He has bred and owns International, European, Romanian, Hungarian, Spanish, Gibraltar and Portugal Champions. He's the Vice President of the Mures County Kennel Club also a board member of the National Carpatin Club and member of the Romanian Kennel Club Cynological Commission and WDPA - World Dog Press Association. He has had many articles published about genetics, inheritance and anatomy.
Fluent in English, Romanian & Hungarian, Cristian has judged International Shows as well as Club Specialty shows and BIS in: Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Israel, Russia, Letonia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Ukrain and Romania.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Denis Kuzelj - Slovenia

Denis is currently the President of the Slovenian Kennel Club and a member of the FCI Show Commission.
He is known as the breeder of Apsala Old English Sheepdogs, having produced and owned many International and multi champions, multi Best in Show winners. He was interested in other breeds as well, like the Welsh Terriers, nowadays into Papillons.
He has judged in South and North America, in Asia and in 36 European countries. He was invited as a breed specialist for various breed club shows.
In his national kennel club, he's a member of the Examination Committee for the judges, Chairman of the International Dog Show Ljubljana & Tromostovje, Chairman of Celje International Dog Show, Secretary of the International Alpe Adria Winner Dog Show in Portorose.
He is most honoured to host as Chairman the Euro Dogshow of 2010 in Slovenia.

Sándor Szabó - Hungary

He has been an enthusiastic dog person since his childhood, he has judged dogs from quite an early age already. He is a successful breeder of Rough and Bearded Collies, and Fox Terriers. There are countless Fenyoligeti Champions and a Junior World Winner Collie. He has been the president of the local MEOE organisation in Debrecen for many years. He is an expert in FCI Groups 1, 3, 4. and 7.

Catrinel Pauna - Romania

28 years old master economist and one of our youngest national judges. She is breeding Deutsch Kurzhaars under the Karpaten Irbis affix. She shows around Europe and also presents her dogs at the working examinations. As a judge candidate she was invited to assist in the conformation ring from the prestigious Deutsch Kurzhaar competition Internationale Kurzhaarprüfung 2007 that took place in Austria. Periodically she publishes articles about the Deutsch Kurzhaar in dedicated magazines.
